Keep in mind that in most cases, cataracts will develop slowly and won’t cause problems with your vision at first. However, as the problem persists, you will find that this vision problem starts to affect your ability to see. When you first come into our office for help treating your cataracts, we may recommend wearing eye glasses and relying on stronger lighting to help you see.
If the problem continues to get worse and affects your normal daily life, we may recommend cataract surgery. Also, after cataract surgery, many times you do not have to wear glasses or contact lenses anymore.
