Dr. Chuck Monson has been serving residents of Mooresville, NC since 2006. Dr. Chuck Monson is a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School. He earned his undergraduate degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After earning his undergraduate degree, he earned his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Monson has practiced in the Mooresville, NC area since 2006 and started Vision Center of Lake Norman in 2013. Dr. Monson is associated with the American Optometric Association, N.C. State Optometric Society, Lake Norman Lions Club, Mooresville Health Reach Clinic, and NC Prevent Blindness.
Dr. Monson and his wife also have participated in several eye mission trips for the Bahamas Youth Network (BYN), which gives eye exams and eyeglasses to school-aged children on remote islands in the Bahamas.
Dr. Monson sees patients of all ages for comprehensive family eye care, including prescribing glasses and specialty contact lenses. He also treats eye diseases, such as dry eyes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic eye exams, and eye emergencies/trauma.
In his spare time, Dr. Monson enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa(Newton Native), and dog, Winston. They especially like traveling and spending time on Lake Norman. Dr. Monson enjoys staying active and participates in several sports, including golf, snow skiing, and wakeboarding. He is also an avid fan of the UNC Tar Heels and the Carolina Panthers.

Dr. Cole was born and raised in Iowa. She attended Iowa State University, where she graduated with honors and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2003.
Dr. Cole was born and raised in Iowa. She attended Iowa State University, where she graduated with honors and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2003.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Cole moved to Boston, Massachusetts to pursue her doctorate. She graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in 2007, earning her Doctor of Optometry degree.
Following optometry school, Dr. Cole completed a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the White River Junction VA Hospital in White River Junction, Vermont in 2008. After completing her residency, she remained at the White River Junction VA Medical Center as an attending doctor before later practicing at a private hospital outside of Boston.
In 2011, Dr. Cole relocated to North Carolina, where she has been providing comprehensive eye care in private practice. She joined Vision Center of Lake Norman in 2026, continuing her commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered eye care.
Dr. Cole enjoys caring for patients of all ages and provides comprehensive family eye care, including prescribing glasses and contact lenses. She also diagnoses and manages a wide range of eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye disease, diabetic eye disease, and eye injuries or emergencies.
Dr. Cole lives in Mooresville with her husband, Justin, their two daughters, and their dog. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, enjoying Lake Norman, and reading.
