Annual Eye Exams

Statesville, NC

Annual eye exams are important for all ages, even if you aren’t having vision issues.

Your body is constantly changing throughout your life, even in ways you might not readily notice. One of those that can be easy to overlook is the health of your eyes. Not all eye conditions have symptoms, or the symptoms may progress slowly and go unnoticed. Here at Vision Center of Lake Norman, we recommend annual eye exams for all ages, whether you have vision issues or not.

The purpose of annual eye exams is to be certain you aren’t having vision-related issues and also to check for conditions such as cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. They also give you the opportunity to address questions you have regarding vision correction methods, including eyeglasses, contacts, and LASIK.

We provide annual eye exams for all ages and encourage you to have children examined early, preferably before they start school in Statesville, North Carolina. Children often do not recognize that they aren’t seeing as well as they should because they don’t have a point of reference and may believe everyone sees things the way they do. If they have a vision problem, it can make school challenging. If you have a school-age child that is having difficulty, call us for an exam to make sure they can see clearly.

In addition to regular annual eye exams, we recommend calling us if you notice any problems in your vision or are suffering with dry, red, itchy eyes. We have the resources to work with you to provide the best solution for your situation. Call today with any questions you may have or to schedule annual eye exams for you and your family.

At Vision Center of Lake Norman, we offer annual eye exams to residents of Mooresville, Davidson, Troutman, Sherrills Ford, Terrell, Huntersville, Statesville, and Cornelius, North Carolina.
